...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS CANCELLED THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. THE AREA OF SLEET AND SNOW CONTINUES TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARD AND AWAY FROM THE AREA. PRECIPITATION SHOULD END IN THE NORTHERN TIER COUNTIES BY 900 PM. SEVERAL COUNTIES IN THE NORTHERN TIER INDICATE THAT SNOW OR SLEET IS BARELY COVERING THE GROUND WHILE OTHERS REPORT BARELY A HALF INCH OF SNOW AND SLEET. ONLY MINOR ACCUMULATION IS EXPECT IN THESE COUNTIES THIS EVENI

Ok from what I was understanding the line that is exiting was not even what they were talking about . It was supposed to be in effect from 6 pm

Here is another thing I don't understand.  They say the precip should end around 9.  But it has already moved out.  How come an average person like me look at the radar and know it will not last another couple of hours.  But they can't.  I am going to be a met when I grow up. lol!

Well its the Fact that the Area that forecast for is not just Nashville So it is still in Areas they forecast for now

Thank You guys for using the nice  thoughtful approach to understanding why the forecast went wrong. I appreciate that you are not calling them all kinds of words and are actually talking about what can be done. Nice Approach.  :)
