It's not quite 7:00, and I already have a temperature of 42.3.

The forecasted low is in the low 30s.  But, I would not be surprised to see the mercury go a little lower than that... unless we pick up a southerly flow overnight.

Very calm outside right now.  Temp dropped quick after the sun went down.  At 7:15 here near Lewisburg I have 39.3.

Just as I suspected, the forecasted lows have been lowered... 25 to 30.

I'm well on my way there with a current temperature of 35.2.

It appears that a bit of cloud cover has moved in overnight, which kept temperatures from going too low.  I currently have 34.9, which is a rise from earlier.

I ended up with 31.8 up on our hill.  The official reporting temp for Lewisburg will probably come in lower.  The station is located at the UT Dairy Experiment Farm which is kind of down in a hollow between two ridges outside of town.

Topography sure makes a difference.  The official low for Lewisburg was 26 less than 1.5 miles from my house where I had 31.8.  The difference: elevation at my house is nearly 1000 feet and the Experiment Farm is around 760 feet.  Interesting.

Just to clarify, temp generally decreases with elevation. The actual reason for the difference in your case is most likely from cold air pooling. You said the Farm is in a hollow between two ridges. This would cause the cold air to pool in the low hollow which actually received less sunlight to begin with the previous day due to the angle of the sun.

I'm sure you already knew this though... just wanted to point out the obvious.
