According to the News2 weather blog, snow flurries have been reported on the Cumberland Plateau this morning... specifically in Fentress County.

I would not be suprised to see some reported overnight or in the morning with the moisture sliding by to our east. Snow Advisory is up for the mountains of NC, early for this type of weather actually. Someone was saying they dont usually see this type of upsloping event until late November.

The cloudy, blustery, cold weather is certainly giving it a winter feel today.  Looks like a pretty good (hard) freeze is on tap for tonight... with a low of 30 inside the city.
