I love this weather. Today was perfect: Nice and warm and not a cloud in the sky all day long. Here's to wishing every day was like this all summer long (with a few rain showers at night occasionally to provide sufficient moisture  ;D ).

You are teasing right ? Some people actually likes Hot weather. I don`t : but I`m in my 50`s. I wonder If crockett remembers Aug. 2007 or the summer of 1980 when our actual Hi`s were in the 100`s for several days in a row ?

August 2007 was great.

Sbeagles, I've hauled hay in hot weather many times. I can't say that I've ever walked 18 holes in the heat, but then I'm not going to walk 18 holes in any weather. I still say that golf courses are a waste of perfectly good hunting and fishing land.  :D

I'm one of those people who love extremes. Very hot in the summer, very cold in the winter. We can have the cool 60-70 degree days in October and April.

Who?  This weather makes me feel lethargic and depressed.  There's a good reason (in my mind) why **** is extremely hot instead of extremely cold.  At least extreme cold makes you numb.

Seconded.  Not only is this miserable, it is very expensive.  My A/C is running virtually 24/7 right now.

We rarely get to 100 degrees on the Cumberland Plateau. In fact, there's only been 4 days in history (2 in July; 2 in August) where we've officially gotten to 100. We did reach 100 one day in August '07. But we were in the 90s plenty during that stretch and I actually went camping in Middle Tn where it did reach 100.

Heat is just like any other weather extreme. You just have to prepare for it and make do.

My Weatherbug, from a reporting station just down the street, currently says 100. But I'd say that's a few degrees too warm. The church across the street is flashing 93 on its board.

Yep, we can complain all we want about it but it will still happen. Part of living in the SE.

The Weatherbug stations (by AWS) always run several degrees too warm in the summer. I guess the equipment they put in doesn't have proper radiation shielding like most professional systems and it really gets exaggerated in the summer sun.
