And what's with the near 90 temps this week, Mother Nature?  Really?   ::bangingheadintowall::

Due to these big temperature swings and such, I have been getting killer headaches. It happens every year when we get very low temps. and skyrocket up into the 80's. :(

models arent as agressive with the much colder air as it was eralier. we are defenetly seeing the begining of a classic la nina pattern.

They'll come back around. 30s/60s seems like a pretty good bet by late next week, IYAM.

Regardless, I don't think I would define a warm October or even a warm November as a classic La Nina pattern. A "classic" La Nina doesn't typically sink its talons into much of the continental U.S. this early in the season.

Makes me wonder about this coming winter.  Granted, it's nothing new for us to experience such swings in temps, after all, this IS Tennessee, but at the same time, I'm wondering if we're going to be dealing with "weather by Sybil" this winter.

Welcome to Tennessee. Grafix by Me.  Weather by Sybil.
