http://twitpic.com/1a9ky3  <-- Not my photo, but a friends.  Taken atop Monte Sano in Huntsville.

http://qik.com/video/614015FBBD984D14A5D1A2A94E12947A <-- A video I took in SW Huntsville.  Can't see it very well, but there are HUGE flakes falling all around here.. Some the size of golf balls or larger.

Best visual snow we've seen all winter, and it's not cold enough to stick around :(
Don't knock the weather. If it didn't change once in a while, nine out of ten people couldn't start a conversation.

That pic from Monte Sano is exactly what it looked like here during the height of the early march storm. Huge beautiful clumpy flakes. That heavy burst of mix lowered the temp by 2 degrees in the last few minutes, and now it is mostly snowing. Crazy weather today!

Back out in east brainerd right now. Wish I had been on lookout for that heavier mix, I'm sure it was all snow up there. Every time I look out the window it's doing something different here. Temp is bouncing between 37 and 39 depending on the intensity of the precip. It seems like it rains/sleets heavily, temps drop, turns to snow, then temps rise, turns back to rain/sleet. Been doing that since I got home about 35 minutes ago.

We had a good little dusting at my house house this morning when I left for the valley. I have been down here since 8:30 in the East Ridge/Brainerd  area and temps have hovered between 40 and 43 with a quick drizzle for maybe 15 minutes.. Never saw the first flake fly. Had to pick up some work material at my brother's house in East Ridge and he has a few digital thermometers set up. His low last night was 38.9 and it's been in the low 40's all day at his house. Weird how this area stayed warm and got a little drizzle while a few miles away in East Brainerd you had cold and snow. Crazy weather.
Still in limbo with Allstate regarding my structural damage from 4/27

Well the precip has mostly stopped here, and now the temp has risen to 40. May only see rain from here all out, but it was fun while it lasted.

Never really was an "event" to start with....

Yes...and again it appears geography plays an integral part in where the "event" materializes and where it doesn't.
