Monterey has 2-3" now, and it is still snowing at a pretty good clip.

Getting close to 2" total here. A little over an inch from yesterday and closing in on a inch from last night and today's action. Still snowing pretty good too and adding to those numbers.

Measured 2" here in Cookeville, too....only .04 melted down...dry, powder for sure.....

And the radar returns continue to increase to our NW...no signs of this stopping.

You must be in the new snow belt of TN.

I saw flurries last evening, but that was it.  Maybe something happened over night, but I can't tell it now.  There's still a thin snowcover left over from the night before last.

Between 1-2" in Scott County...though it's hard to find a wind-sheltered location for a decent measurement.

Yep, a line of snow developed last night up in KY and moved southward. Looking back north towards Louisville and more snow is developing...good news for us snow lovers. haha

In Cookeville watching it snow.  Actually one of the prettier snows we've had in a while.  Big fluffy flakes being blown around by the wind.  ::applause::

Can also confirm, at least where I live, 2+ inches on ground with snow now probably heaviest it has been.

Me again from Wilson county!  :D  What is up with this snow?  Is it going to continue? Thinking we might close early.  Any thoughts?

Well, I must stay I'm a bit surprised this morning.  The forecast states "50% chance of snow, with an inch possible."  Right now it is pouring snow here, with almost an inch already on the ground.

2" exactly now and roads are treacherous. Guy trying to come up our road in a truck starting spinning out and had to just go back downhill, backwards, and leave...

Still heavy snow here in Monterey.  Where did this come from?  NOAA said maybe in inch for today.  At home in Cookeville, I had probably an inch this morning at 6:30.  It started last night with a quick, dry dusting that the wind was blowing around everywhere, and had quit by bedtime.  I get up this morning and there is more on the ground, with moderate snow falling.  Up on the hill here in Monterey, crazy, big, puffy snow flakes.  It is a very pretty snow.
