Looking ahead the patterns looks loaded. With this type flow @ 500mb, a displaced pv south and STJ interaction it looks very possible for more events to come. Tonights 00Z does show numerous threats. Its best to keep the car in idle right now....

0Z GFS looks good...big snow in middle tenn, even 6 inches to the state line and 3 or 4 inches in the huntsville area....
Snow in the South is wonderful. It has a kind of magic and mystery that it has nowhere else. And the reason for this is that it comes to people in the South not as the grim, unyielding tenant of Winter's keep, but as a strange and wild visitor from the secret North. -THOMAS WOLFE

I think I'm going to sleep on this one until about Friday and see how things look. It certainly looks interesting next week for a couple potential rounds of snow.

2/3 0Z GFS looks colder for the storm next Tuesday. 850 temp is good but 2m temp is borderline. Not getting on this train though until the Euro agrees.

That’s what troubles me. This notion that we have to take sides in this country now, you’re either with us or against us, Republican or Democrat, red state or blue state. No one looks at an issue and struggles over the right position to take anymore. And yet, our ability to reason is what makes us human. Lately, we seem so willing to forfeit that gift of reason in exchange for the good feeling of belonging to a group. We all just take the position of our team.”

Yeah I'm not so much concerned about amounts as the will probably vary greatly from now until then, but yes the over all trend looks great so long as the Canadian high doesn't suppress the low to far south.

How do you post a picture from your computer on here?

You must have photobucket or some online service that'll give the picture a unique code.

I saw that too. Too much flip-flopping right now to say one way or the other. But we do have to watch and see if this is a trend...

My gosh, the storm doesn't even come near us in that run. ::doh::
AND A LOT CAN CHANGE BETWEEN NOW AND THEN.
