Small flakes coming down, but there are a lot of them. I guess you can call it a moderate snow flurry shower. haha It is starting to cover up our foot prints on the deck where we went out this morning.

Official measured 3/4" this morning and maybe could squeeze out an inch before all is said and done. Temp. has dropped to 31.0F and has even bounced to 30.8F for a time.

BNA has reported light snow for 3 hourly updates now and everyone's temp. continues to fall.

Western Macon County: 30.6F w/ light snow
Crossville: 30F w/ light freezing rain
Nashville International: 32F w/ light snow
Smyrna: 34F w/ drizzle
Clarksville: 32F w/ overcast skies

Yea, there for a bit, we had quite a bit of sleet comming down. It has stopped now.

Just a dusting in Scott County today. The bigger story was roads freezing as temps dropped below freezing tonight. Black ice is catching some people by surprise (though it isn't really black ice because snow is sticking where the wet road surfaces are freezing...I guess it's "white ice" ;D). I saw one car laying down an embankment and in a creek on the way home. :o The driver was no where to be found...hiked for help, I assume.
