It'll depend on what the dew points are.  I haven't looked at anything, so take my response with a grain of salt.

Yeah, that is true Eric...I haven't heard what the models are forecasting DP wise.

Yeah, the NAM for the past 3-4 runs has been pretty consistent on a decent wrap around event for portions of SW Kentucky and NW/NC Tennessee.  Let's see if it pans out..... ::coffee::

Don't know about yall, but there's nothing more frustrating for a snow lover than our set up this morning... Heavy precip moving in with wet bulb temps at 32.5 or so.

The coldest of cold rains starting soon

OHX is saying we could see an inch of accumulation while LMK is saying 1-2" likely for the South Central KY counties.

I will take it! ;D

First time I got this kind of message in my email  ::pondering::

Weather Impacting Flights to East Coast Cities
Passengers Encouraged to Contact Airline

Nashville International Airport (BNA) has been notified by several airlines, including American, American Eagle, Continental, Southwest, and US Airways, that they are proactively cancelling flights to many cities on the East Coast today and tomorrow due to anticipated snow in that region. Cities impacted include but are not limited to Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Newark.

BNA encourages all passengers to contact their airline about flight status for flights scheduled for today and over the weekend. Departure and arrival information is available online at www.flynashville.com

That's gonna mess up the flights for many days to come as the great shuffle of aircraft is impacted. Glad I'm not going anywhere for the moment.

Just checked my local forecast...OHX has bumped up snow totals from "less than once inch" to 1-2 overnight, with up to an inch for tomorrow.  Wonder what they are seeing that made them change things around from this morning?
