Right, that's what I'm saying.

I got at least an inch in the overnight hours, ostensibly from the ULL. Cause I cleared off a couple inches from my sidewalk at 9 when the main snowfall was winding down.

I'm a little north of you, and per Charles, northern counties got a good deal of accumulation overnight. Must have been a sharp cutoff for the ULL

Gotcha.  No, I didn't get much additional accumulation after the snow-sleet mixture turned to freezing drizzle last night.  This morning, it looked pretty much the same as it was when I hit the hay last night, just with the ice layer dusted on top.  You must have received a pretty decent hit from the ULL to get as much as you did.  I know the local news was saying this morning that the upper Cumberland Plateau could get another 2" from the ULL.

It just wasn't much down my way.

4.5" snow with 1.01" water equivalent.

You had 1.01" water equivalent, Clay?

Dont forget, if you live in the Northern Cumberland Plateau Region, contact Jason B. Wright (31/JBW) he's a Senior Forecaster with the National Weather Service (NWS) Office in Nashville. He was looking for storm totals. Detail from his member intro:

Bummer... I'll miss the familiar urgency of the all caps regardless of the real urgency.
A TRANQUIL WEATHER PATTERN BRINGING FAIR SKIES WILL DOMINATE THE REGION.

i noticed that as soon as the sun went down, is when most of the snow really accumulated, before being reduced by sleet.

so if the snow would have came in that friday night with no sleet or freezing rain, WOULD MOST AREAS HAVE GOTTEN ABOVE A FOOT?

i saw some moderate sleet change over to heavy snow friday night in nashville(we had 1 inch in less than an hour), then it changed back to sleet.

so would most areas have reached 10+inches?

Some areas would have.  But, the airport officially measured only .63" of melted down precipitation.  If that had been pure snow at a 10:1 ratio, it would have been just a little over 6 inches.

Other areas received over 1.00".  Those areas would have seen over 10" if the precip had all been snow at a 10:1 ratio.
