SW winds in the valley locations kept temps up overnight. SW winds in the valley (if I recall from living there), means some downsloping winds off the mts, not good to keep snowfall around very long. I would imagine however that the northern valley (TRI) fared much better due to teh increase in elevation.

Temps. never feel here last night as they didn't for many. Currently though temps. are on the decrease with a current reading of 36.4F after the 6 am reading was at 37.7F.

Still forecasting 1/2"-1" for tonight here, that would be a nice treat!

I don't believe so. The precipitation you see coming down from Paducah will continue all day and our temps. will continue to steadily fall. I'm down to 36.0F now...

This system is taking its time moving out of here, so that is why we will have rain/snow showers all day today and then it will taper off to some flurries/light snow showers tonight. (Mainly Plateau)

Probably not, OHX has a 40% chance of rain/snow for you and the current radar trends aren't that good right now for you.

I believe you may be done with any precipitation of any kind from looking at intellicast's radar adam.

Mix precipitation is being reported in Clarksville right now...

We also are having some snow mix in with the rain now. Not big flakes, but enough that you can tell it is more then just rain.

I just looked at that intellicast radar and i dont know if you saw it but in the northwest corner of tennessee there is some precip that could come down over us.

But you have to remember that this is all going around with the low pressure and is moving off to the ENE. So if you put the radar into motion, it shows that portion of moisture moving ESE as the system pulls off, slowly, to the ENE.

That's the most likely sadly. You have to remember your location. You are almost to the Alabama border. Southern Middle TN is where it snows the least in our region. It may take some more patience for you to finally get snow.
