4 and 5 are slower to bit the bullet than 2. I personally like WSMV's forecast for now. Dan Thomas is IMO one of the smoothest TV mets in Nashville. He's so professional when he's on the air but at the same time he doesn't give you the impression that he's reading of the teleprompter.

I agree. Dan Thomas is one of the best on-air mets as far as presentation.

Its amazing how fast things change in 24 hours. The 12Z suites have changed quite a bit. CPC continues to forecast below normal temps in the extended range. Pretty sweet pattern to watch right now tho, that is for sure.

We've been lied to for the first time by the GFS. It's pretty early in the season too.  ::)  ;)

I`m thinking and that could be interesting that 60 ° is the projected Hi for  Next Monday for Bemis, Tn.
The Record Coolest Hi is 52 ° in 2006. Yeah just 3 years ago.

The forecast model I trust the most is calling for a Hi in Nashville of 57 ° Of course that could change over the next few days since Monday is 5 days out.   ::shrug::

Looks like next Monday and Tuesday nights (~10/13) we will be flirting with 32F temps according to today's GFS and the Euro...and so it begins.

Most everyone in West and Central KY has a low of 35 foretasted for Monday Night.

That means if that is true for the more populated areas that the sheltered and low lying valleys in rural areas could easily have a freeze.

I have to wonder how cold it gets there in January if its like that now. I would love to go there for a few days just to see what that would be like.

Thats some pretty cold air stored to our northwest.  Too bad it looks like it wont be making a push further southeast any time soon.
