Every year since 2000 has produced big snowtsorms in mid tn or somewhere in tn.

i think wherever they measure offical snowfall just don't snow or something but other areas do.
in 2000, i know it snowed more than 6 inches somwhere
in 2001 also
in 2002, i think there was a february snowtorm over two days in nashville that produced 1 foot where i live at. the airport or whever does nashville' official snowfall just don't get snow or something.

In 2003, finally two big snowstorms. One in january and 1 in february

From theat year on, every big snowstorm has been within 5 miles of nashville or something

in Feb 2004-nashville again misses a big snow just because of VERGA. i remeber that day well

In feb 2005

In Feb 2006-Nashville again missed out. How could it be that the Gulf Low pushed the warm air directly at nashville?

In feb 2007- nashville again missed out.?????well actually i don't remember anything from that winter, except the 2 inches of snow we had in the begining of february?

In march 2008, every where in nahville got a good snow, except the official measuring place. I was shocked to see that they only got .8 inches of snow. i was like WTF?

I don't need the official numbers to tell me that this has been a very snowless decade by comparison to the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s. ;)

That is a good point you make but overall snowfall in the Eastern US especially, has been way down lately. Why is this under severe wx?
