Since it’s October I'll now start keeping temp records. Usually the Fall and Winter months is when we pay attention to it the most anyway. 

The low this morning was 47.7 at 6:34am. The high to day was 71.2 at 4:29pm.

40.9° this morning on my weather station...I do see some 30's across the Highland Rim this morning.

Stats for today... 46.9º/71.2º... Currently at 7:02PM: 58.3º (that's almost 5 degrees cooler than at this time last night)

Interesting. I'm at 56.8 right now; you seem to cool off a bit faster than me.  This has been them same for the past several evenings.

My WXbug is reporting 47 in Columbia and you are reporting 56º. Hmm..

Well, my sensor is at least 5 feet away from the house and is 4 feet below the deck. I get a lot of ventilations down there. I also stood there for a moment and then walked out on the back yard and could tell no temperature difference(physically) I probably just don't cool off fast here. I have another thermometer I'll test out just to be sure. I like my weather data(whenever I do collect some) to be as precise and accurate as possible.
