High and Low Temperature Reports

Isn't this a beautiful day in middle Tennessee?  We can look around and not see bombs bursting in air, smoke from fires; we are blessed. It is a day for praying for our country, all people everywhere.  It's an incredible day.

Summer may have officially ended a few weeks ago.  But, perhaps today is our last "might as well be summer" day.  After today, it's only mild weather at best.

Go out one last time in shorts and t-shirts today.  Go for a swim if you have a chance.  Drink a glass of cold lemonade and sit on the front porch for one last time... it may not be quite like this again until next May.

     

Long live summer!  And, see you next year!

We'll meet again at the next appointed time....hopefully after Spring has had her nice run..And Winter has reminded us that it DOES INDEED snow nicely here in Middle Tennessee.

This summer wasn't nearly as bad as last, but I am glad to see it go! I am so ready for the nip in the air, and the excitement of piles of snow we're going to get. 
  I also, in a twisted way, am excited about any severe potential that November may bring. Never wanna see anyone hurt but thunder and lightning recharges me. Just knowing it may thunder and rain tommorow is getting me through the day. LOL

I've been rather disappointed about my ability to keep records lately. My station must be reset each day if I wish to record the following day's temp records but I left town Saturday and haven’t been able to keep records since then(I know I wrote Thurs and Fridays on paper).

Anyways I hope to keep a full straight month's worth of records come November. I see you all got some rain. Hopefully no more will come for the next few days until I come home and record what fell yesterday. Out of all the times I been away from the rain gauge I've only had to make one multi-day report and I aim to keep it that way.
