And So It Ends...
« on: May 05, 2006, 11:39:27 AM »
I officially declare today, May 5, 2006, the end of wintry weather possibilities.  I see almost no chance of frost, snow, ice, or cold days, and no chance past May 25.  The beginning?  I think September 20 will herald a frost or cold snap.  Maybe the end of May.  I haven't checked anything but my instincts; however, the outlook is for above-normal temperatures.

When does the Farmer's Almanac come out?

That will tell us for sure about next winter ;)

I prefer not to think about winter right now though, since I'm going to try to enjoy a LONG summer :D
